I have an 9N rechargeable which is no longer in production. I'd like to get a tip-off filter for it, but after checking around (tried Sableco and the Surefire web site) I can't find anyone that sells them. Will the filters for a 9AX (or any other) work on a 9N? Anybody know where there is a supply of obsolete Surefire accessories?
Go to the SureFire website and download their PDF catalogs. In there, you will see the specs for the filters and such. Measure the bezel on your light and see which filter matches up...
Nevermind - after a little research (found my old Surefire catalog) it seems that all the accessories for the 9N are the same as for the 9AN series.
The FM1x BeamFilters for the M3 and associated WeaponLights will fit the 9AN, and yes, also the Classic 9N.
FM13 - IR BeamFilter
FM14 - BeamShaper (diffuser)
FM15 - Red BeamFilter
FM16 - Blue BeamFilter
FM17 - BeamCover
The "Classic" BeamFilters for the 9N are:
F39 - IR BeamFilter
F34 - BeamShaper (diffuser)
F36 - Red BeamFilter
F37 - Blue BeamFilter
F32 - BeamCover
The Red Traffic Cone is F38.
SureFire support their discontinued models and accessories - especially ones like the Classic 9N which is still widely used from what I've heard.
I hope you get hold of the parts you need.
