I ran across a new DPMS 308 AP4 for sale and couldn't help myself, should be in my hands by the end of the week. Yes, pictures to follow. From the research I've done it looks like the DPMS are pretty accurate shooters. Anybody out there have the LR-308 AP4?

Same boat as you, my AP4 is susposed to be here tomorrow.
I do have a DPMS 24" 308 LR and love it. Dont shoot my 5.56 much anymore.
If its anything like my 24" you'll love it. Some people claim long break in on the shorter barrels, like 500 rounds before it smoothes out, but that is usually the case with a real tight firearm.

Got it.

Range report from this past weekend with LR-308.......With a 6x power scope at 100 yards with factory Remington 150  gr. ball, 1.2 inch five shot group. Not too bad for a 16 inch'er - Plus be able to hit at will a 15x15 inch metal plate at 430 yards. Tracers are next!
