I am. Seems a little strange to me. I can ship 5-6 bolts for $6 via USPS Priority Mail.

Its probably a glitch on PSA's site, normal  shipping for stuff like that should be $8.50

I got a shipping quote of 8.50

Say what???  Looks like a TOFTT, deal.  Maybe, maybe not.  Not HPT/MPI listed, no extractor upgrade listed.  Only thing it has going for it listed is Carpenter 158.  An absolute SWAG unless you have used it.  Might be a screaming deal, but I have never used one.

Christ, pump your breaks kid. What do you expect for $70? Buy one keep it as a spare complete bolt. it'll work in case your $1000 custom precision cnc cut heat treated hard chromed BCG ever goes down

Removed the panties part, forgot this wasn't GD

It would be better to just spend $1.50 more on one of Aim's BCGs with an MPI bolt.

They are sold out right now, but if you can wait its definitely a better deal, they usually get a big shipment in every month.

Thanks for the ED7 coupon, just ordered it from Brownells.

AIM...

No reason to chose PSA mystery bolts.

The steel in t b e spa is different as well isn't it? I never expected bolts under 79.95.   I like aim surplus as well.

You talkin' to me, kid?????

You mostly just restated the meaning of my post.  Buy a vowel next time and just edit your post instead of your little panties caveat.

And you can get Aim's, which have been well reviewed, for as low at $75 when they are in stock.  I picked up two Del-Ton's HPT/MPI the other night on their deal of the day $90 each.  They put them in deal of the day regularly, free shipping.

I thought I was just missing some capitalization and a couple punctuation marks, but I could be wrong.

Never had problems with most of PSA's stuff. Wouldn't hesitate to pop on this if I didn't already have a spare.

I just installed the nickel boron  BCG  from Ares Armor.  It is one fine piece of work. $99 and had it in 2 days. We ran 500 rounds through it Saturday.  Ran flawlessly

If it were a PSA BCG, I'd be with you.  But it's made by ATI, and their track record is missing...they're too new and too little is known about how their stuff performs.  For that price, I'd go with something else, even if I had to wait, or go $20 more and get PSA's "premium, no-logo" BCG (which I have done, and it's an outstanding BCG).

But I do get scam emails all the time (allegedly) from people I’ve done business with

I was just using an AR for plinking at the range then I'd be fine with these inexpensive bolts...probably.

For me, the bolt is on of the most critical parts of the AR in terms of safety so that's one part I don't mind paying more for when it's from a reputable vendor.

I'm all for building an AR as inexpensively as possible but we all have our own standards. As long as the parts meet those expectations than that's all that matters.

Not just for you.

It's also a common point of failure.

These Aim BCG's for $79.95 is the best deal going. They are out of stock at the moment but I use the notify button and bought 3 for $225.00 shipped for builds I was working on for a friend. I ended up getting the 3rd BCG for assembling the uppers, and staking the castlenuts for my buddy. Not a bad deal, nor a bad backup BCG.
