Picked up a stripped billet glock mag 9mm lower. Dropped in a PSA lower parts kit and then got their 16" 9mm upper.  I have not shot it yet but here are a couple issues I was wondering if anyone else has had.

First, the bolt protrudes the smallest amount in the rear of the reciever.  It's enough that you can not pivot the upper open off the front pin.  You have to pull both pins to get the upper off.

Second,  after dry firing it twice I noticed that the hammer has two circular marks from where it's hitting the edge of the rear of the bolt.  The hammer is one of PSA's unnotched ones.

Also the MOE grip that came in the parts kit is deformed enough that it won't fit on the tang of any ar lower.  But that's just a gripe.  A regular one from the parts bin fit the receiver fine.

Curious if anyone else had any similar experiences.   I've been planning on buying one when they come back in stock.

Something isn't right with the bolt protruding like that.
If you'll send them an IM in the Industry forum with the pictures, I'm sure they will fix you up.

Been in contact with them on IM.  They've been awesome.

Looks like the weight on the back of the carrier was drilled and pined a bit long.

My PSA AR-9 upper and lower definitely swing open and closed with the front pin still closed.

As far as the MOE grip goes, how is yours deformed?  I just got a few MOE grips and swapped out grips on a handful of my PSA lowers (AR-9 and AR-15).  Every single one of the MOE grips was really tight.  I had to put a good bit of force to get them to start slipping over the tang on the lower receiver.  Then they required a few taps with a hammer and tightening the screw to pull them into place.

Not posting to rag on PSA.  Just putting some info out there incase anyone else has issues.

Here's a pic of a regular carrier in the upper.

Here's a pic of the gap.

Sent the whole rifle back to them on the 7th and got it back today.  They swapped the bolt, test fired 20 rounds, and put a new grip on it. Had a nice letter explaining what they did.

PSA's customer service was great.  Just wanted to pass it along.
