I've seen these rails usually on PRI Gen3 float tubes but I was wondering will they only go on these float tubes or will they go on any tube that has a weaver rail on top? Thanks!

Hey thanks for the info and pics guys. I was thinking they were designed for the PRI tube. I really like that setup there MSTN. I hoping to build a SPR someday.

Is there a fixed or flip-up BUIS that will fit on top of the PRI rail at the correct height?

Will a Troy rear BUIS fit rear of the PRI top rail?

Looking at Wes's pic, it looks like the rail can accomodate an ARMS 40L.

I prefer the Troy. YMMV.

I've got an ARMS #40L behind my PRi rail and would post a picture but the photo server is down. The forward underside of the rail is radiused to match the round surface of PRi forearm. I suppose it would work with any round forearm that was of the same external diameter as the PRi.

I'm not totally sure, but I remember someone posting a while back about using the Troy rear BUIS with the PRi rail, but it was obviously designed to mate with the ARMS family of sights. Not owning a Troy rear BUIS, I can't confirm this and don't clearly remember.

ETA: That's the best pic I've got right now... like Wes said, the contours of the rail perfectly mate with the ARMS sights.

Is there a rail like that, that will fit a Bushmaster Varminter Handguard? After my M4 build I cannot afford to buy a $300 handguard.

YHM makes some kind of rail riser in different lengths that screw onto flattop/handguard rails. I gueass a long enough one could be used to bridge the recevier and the ahandguards as well. Maybe?

double_r76,

What rail do you have mounted on your receiver and fore-end?

It doesn't look like any of the 3 lengths I see on PRI's web site.

thanks

PRI top rail...who do they attach???

Gary Coleman could fit on there I bet.... or maybe that "Mini Me" dude from the Austin Powers movie.

[dr evil voice] Is it too much to ask for M4s with Gary Coleman attached to the rail[/dr evil voice]

It's the PRi rifle length rail that was cut off after that first "leg" that drops down. Adco did the cut and refinish and the finished product looks like a factory piece. Below is the pic they took before they sent the upper to me.

Nice! That setup with the Troy front is real close to what I was thinking of.

Thanks! I take that as a great compliment after seeing the awesome set-ups you are running.

I've actually switched the top and bottom rails on the forearm since the ADCO pic. The Troy sight is on the short rail and the full-length rail is on the bottom to mount my KAC foregrip and Harris BRMS.
