I would like to get your guys opinion on PMC bronze ammo... I've found for 7 dollars a box, and my question is if it is reliable enough to use in sighting in my AR.

It's a little underpowered but it all went bang when I used it.

Did you take advantage of the $6.49 per box at natchez brother Rippers?

Yeah I just saw that and I am like killing myself for not getting in but I found some S&B around here for 7.70 after taxes.
My wife prefers that I get it local and one-two boxes at a time.

I do not know how long it will before they are out because they just have 8-10 boxes out at a time and I get 1-2 boxes a day. So far 160 rounds richer this past week and no mean looks.

No, I bought a bunch of it from Outdoormarksman and some from Natchez last year. I finished it up in January. I was never really convinced it was worth any price, let alone $7.00 a box. Some places have it for a lot more than that.

Local store here has it for 13.00 a box.

They say its Korean Match ammo.

Gun Store folks wonder why I get mad but its the false advertising stuff. I could see it local for 8.95 and that is what the other store has it for.

Short answer is yes. Reliability wise, it has functioned fine in everything I've ran it through (AR wise), and my Dad has ran thousands of rounds through his mini 14 with no problems whatsoever. It's my standard plinking/ jackrabbit ammo.

If you're sighting in at 25M or 50 yds you shouldn't see much of a difference from m193 at those ranges. For longer distances you may want to look up ballistics tables or better yet, do the actual shooting and comparison yourself on a KD range.

The ammo itself is GTG.

I've used it plenty and it is suitable for sighting in with your battlesight zero. make sure you save your brass. if you're like me, you will start reloading them before too long :)

always has been good to me and my rifles - never really tested accuracy though

Oh yeah, I remember ODM had the for like $300 per K or something? I refuse to buy from him after that "brand new manufactured ammo" fiasco. I mean he did change his ways and I give em credit for it. But yeah, I saw PMC Bronze at $10 an box last gun show and I anticipate it will be higher when I go next week. Natchez still has them at $6.49 a box. It seems fine to me altho it's no XM193 but it does the job. I will pick up another K this week.

Stay safe!
