I'm looking for a superlight with an A2 FS on it, and need some gun porn to tide me over for the day.....

This is an A1 FS though.  I just got this upper last week, this lower isn't the one it's going to stay on, as I have my other lightweight upper that this lower belongs to, getting threaded.  So this is it's temp home until I get another lower.  But when complete it will still look this way, just maybe with a 4 pos CAR stock, not the M4 style.

I am in the process of building a lightweight, and will post pics in the next month or two when it's done...it's taking a while b/c I have to wait for my monthly stipend checks.

You call that a 'light'?  This is a light:

Or at least, it was light before I doodad-ed it up with the Aimpoint and ACE Socom stock.  Actually, it's still pretty light, even with all that stuff on it.

Is that a Ciener kit in that Carbon 15....just wondering since you have a 556 mag in there....

Very observant.  The ciener mag wouldn't hold it up on the fence, so the 5.56 Mag went in there instead.  I finally got to shoot it with the regular 5.56 at FDCC on Sunday.  I was a little leary about not having a buffer detent, but it ran 100% without fail, in a hurricane, no less.
