Howdy everyone, I am just saying hello for the first time. I've been lurking for the past couple months, absorbing all I can; this has led me to purchase an RRA A3 middy. It will still be about a month of waiting, and already everyone around me is annoyed by my childlike giddiness.

I want to thank you all for your amazing amount of information; I have gone from knowing little to none about the AR-15, to being able to carry on an intelligent conversation about them.

I will be sure to post pictures when she arrives.

Thanks again!

Be careful - do not feed them after midnight.  Do not get them wet.  EBRs multiply.

Congrats on the 1st rifle!  Make sure to get 10 or so USGI mags and some decent ammo.

Howdy

Good choice on RRA and the middy.

You're gonna love it.

Once you get your AR you'll want another one and more.

Welcome to the BRD pal.

I have other types of assault rifles and I had a few ARs before.

I got started again on ARs only last February and I'll have three guns by next month.

Welcome. A RRA A3 midlength upper will be my next purchase, hopefully in the next couple of weeks. My Bushy lower is very lonely. Enjoy your rifle when you get it.

Welcome to BRD.  It spreads very fast and takes control.  I am already planning my second rifle.

Thank you all for the warm welcome!

I was told the wait for an RRA factory-assembled rifle would be between four and five weeks, hence their backorder.

Well, I'm off to work - see ya'll later tonight!
