i'm working on something.  there's definitely no large quantities out there anymore or anyone making them.

i talked to EA, his suppliers have been flaky and he doesn't think there's enough demand to put a lot of money into getting the forgings and then finishing them.  he drove them to texas to get them powdercoated.  he actually said he was looking into selling all the tooling for it.

olympic arms used to make some and i spoke with their sales guy and they would fire it back up if there was a large enough order but theirs wasn't milspec.  it was reinforced in certain areas and had a thicker buttplate.

i'll keep you guys posted.

Nope, I take the time to call around on my own rather then wait for others to do.

I talked to Vaughn Johnson at EA yesterday, relative to my own order, and he told me that he had approx. 50 stocks and tubes in stock. These are 4 position(civilian-$125.00) and 6 position (military-$135.00). These are assorted smooth and crinkle finish. He also said that he had plans to resume 2 position manufacturing, but, he had issues with a manufacturer. He hopes to resume 2 position manufacturing in the near future, especially if there is an increased need. He also said that he only had about three additional calls this week about CAR stocks. My thought is, that we need to encourage him if we want him to increase his inventory.

So................

GET OUT THERE AND BUILD CARBINES!

Hal

PS- SAW has current M-4 Buttstock Assemblies for $199.50 and discontinued M-4 Assemblies for $250.00.

(337)945-0185 Ask for Vaughn Johnson. I don't think he has any 2 hole tubes right now.
