I'm sure this has been discussed before but what is a resonably priced optic for a carbine with collapsable stock.

Depends on what type of optics you are talking about?

I am planning on mounting a cheap scope on my carbine for my kids to shoot. If I ever get my Carbine!

Generation 4 ATN NVM14-XR5. Definately your best bet, and quite reasonably priced.

I would love to have a generation 4 but I need to stay around $300.00. I will check out the eotech.

At that price range, EoTech is a solid choice.

For magnified optics, check out IOR Valdada scopes Great glass at a great price.
