What is your opinion on YHM railed free float tubes, particularly the light weight models?

Thanks

They are OK for the price. They are not the best. I'm not sure I would do the light weight.

They're the best thing going for those on a budget. No, they don't lock as tight as a Larue or DD but they are also like 1/3 of the price.
0302 huh? who are you with?

I'd say it's a B+ FF tube...

Some grips don't fit well due to the short vertical section of the rails
(adjacent to the round part, running the length of the tube.)

The only real thing preventing rotation is the lock ring, but that could be fixed
with a bit of ingenuity.

I have one on my "varmint/recce wannabe" upper and I haven't had any issues.

I've got one on both of my uppers. They seem to do very well, and I've never had it loosen or turn.

I'd buy another.

I personally have a bushy mod carbine with one have had it for awhile with no issues
We sell alot of RRA A4s with um on from the factory and no issues there
Have seen a couple user installed ones come loose the solution there is just use alot of locktight and understand it is probably never gonna come off

I have them on four rifles when I include those on buddie's rigs. No problems with any of them. TD vert grip goes on fine when you use a rubber mallet, which I like because it is tight as hell.
