Opinions on Eotech OPMOD xps 2-0

Hi All,

I want to take advantage of this Eotech rebate and I narrowed it down to the xps line of red dots. Does anyone have any first hand experience with the Eotech Opmod xps 2-0 from Optics Planet? It comes with the integral qd mount. With the 10% off coupon I have and the $50 rebate, I'd get the sight out the door for $400. This seems like the best deal going...thanks in advance for any feedback on this sight. I've attached a link to the sight below:

I don't have any experience with the OPMOD, but it's my understanding that it's just an Optics Planet-branded 2-0, which is fine. Very good deal on those. I do have a couple XPS Series EO's, and they're great. Although I'd never get rid of my 512's and 557's, all I'm buying now are the XPS Series.

I have the OPMOD and love it. Compact length, side controls, QD mount, lower third co-witness, it's all good.

I just bought the opmod today from them.
50 rebate and 5% coupon.
I didnt find the 10% coupon????????

I just bought one last week. It is nice. I prefer my Aimpoint Comp M4 with Larue mount, but that is just my preference. It is really nice for the money though.

The QD mount work good? Does it keep it nice and secure?

It does. It holds zero too. I love my opmod! Plus the side controls are great. Its basically a exps3 without night vision

I just got mine.
Now its going back for a exchange.
detents for left/right adjustment dont work.
If the one that replaces it works for the detents, i will be pleased with the model.

Any chance someone can post a pic looking through the Eotech Opsmod without a rear site or the site just folded down? I want to see how much the front post sticks up in the window. I know it's supposed to be a 1/3 co-witness but I can't picture it in my head. This will (hopefully) help me decide if I want a low profile gas block or a regular A2 post.

Its the EXPS not the XPS, it is 1/3 co-witness. I really like mine, works perfect and definite clicks. Just wish I could have gotten this -$50 back when I got mine.

I should have my Eotech XPS2 tomorrow if Fedex runs on Saturdays, I got mine from GG&G, it comes with already mounted lens covers and quick disconnect, I can't wait to mount it on my Stag 8L, because of the shorter base I'll be able to mount the 3x multiplier and still have room for the rear iron sights, the glass on these sights are really nice and bright.
