I'm thinking of getting a DPMS stainless
lower receiver. Anybody have any experience
with these? FAC lists them for $180, but they
won't get any until next month. Just wondering
if they're worth the wait. Thanks.

SS is heavier...so if you want a heavier rifle go for it. Now the hardness comparison. SS is soft compared to the hardcoat anodizing of 80 rockwell. Lastly you can buy two aluminum lowers verses one in SS.
