EOTech = yes
Aimpoint = yes
Tacpoint = range
S.P.O.T. = range
Bushnell Holosight = range (exactly the same as an EOTech, but lacks the waterproofing/armor)
NCStar = run away.

That pretty much sums it up. I love my 552 and I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I also thought about the Eotec, but was wondering if you guys missed the magnification of a scope?

here and there. Let's just say the better shooter placed 5th with a 4x ACOG shooting from 25 yards to 170. I would have placed 14th (if I hadn't screwed up one of my stages through an error) with my EOTech.

So, yes and no. Depends on what you're doing.

If you really feel the need you can slap a 3x Aimpoint magnifer back there on a Samson flip sight. It will work with most any Red-Dot.

I have an EOTech 551 and an Aimpoint Comp M2 and I am pleased with both of them!  You may want to go with the EOTech that takes the AA batteries just to make it slightly easier to find batteries for.  I did not like the AA battery EOTechs because I found them to be too long but YMMV.  The major plus to the Aimpoint is that the battery will last tons longer than the EOTech.  I would post pics, but I have to leave shortly and don't have time to wait for the battery to charge on the digital camera.

Stay away from NC star, their products are awful. Personal experience. If you want a good sight, get an aimpoint comp m2 (M68CCO).
