I don't know if anyone has already posted a reference to this web site or not but I found it and I think is a VERY interesting read and is chock-ful-o information.

MarineS., thanks very much for this most interesting article. There is a "Gustafson" mentioned. Just FYI, that person is the father of our AR15.com member "gus". 5sub Edited to add: I suppose I should leave a little weasel room and say that I'm 'almost' certain that is the same Gustafson.

There should be a minor update for the article published within the next day or so.

Took me forever to read it, but damn!, that is VERY informative. I have known for some time that the test between the M14 and the AR-15 were rigged in favor of the M14, but never knew how exactly. Now at least I have some idea (comparing slow firing of the match-grade M14 with full-auto firing of the AR-15 at 800 meters is just plain ridiculous). Just in case my Internet connection dies, I saved the whole thing to my hard drive, besides bookmarking it. Thanks!

One incredibly looooong article! Before I have the time to get to it, someone tell me, what is their overall message about the M-16 and the 556 round?
