Is there a reason why I shouldn't have one bolt carrier group for use in multiple uppers (14.5", 16" and 10.5")?

It's OK to only have one bolt carrier but not the bolt assy.

Right now, i have one carrier per upper.

The reason is the lug wear into your extension, it is best to keep that matched to each individual upper.

It is suppose to be good for your head spacing also.

Why would you want to?

probably out of sheer economics

I'm a broke ass college student, I can barely afford the next upper i'm planning on buying (LW middy... hehe)

I can onyl use one upper at a time, so why can't I use the same bolt? That kind of logic

OK, so the consensus is one bcg per upper. Thanks.
