Anyone use one? I'd like opinions before I purchase one. I just don't like the spring noise and would like to see if it helps control the bolt slamming rearward and muzzle rise at all. Also which buffer is preferred, the standard or the adjustable?

Do a search. There's a thread that mentions the a pneumatic ones. BTW, not trying to be a jerk but be sure to use the correct spelling so you can find it. I can't spell every word in the English language correctly either but lucky for you, I can spell "pnuematic" correctly.

I bought one of the Olympic AC-4 pneumatic recoil buffers. It definitely kills the spring noise, and seems
to dampen the rifle a bit. Mine had to be shipped back to Olympic Arms because the buffer was too stiff.
I often had problems going full into battery because the bolt didn't have sufficient forward velocity to
completely close the action. I got it back a little while back, but haven't had a chance to try it.

They replaced my unit free of charge.
