Anyone using the Olympic pneumatic recoil buffer? Sounds interesting, and would eliminate the "boing" sound of the spring that I hate Or how about MGI 2X music wire spring? They make similar claims that it's quiet.

I run an Enidine hydraulic buffer in one of my SBR's and it seems to work pretty nice.

I'm not sure why you say rifle or carbine makes a difference, unless you're referring to the length of my current recoil buffer. I have an 18" RRA Varminter upper and a Bushy lower with a standard length recoil buffer.

Do you think it would it work in that?
