Ok, so i was going to build a 300 blk, because i love the heavier bullet that would be similar to my ak. However, after researching, it would be better for me to build a 7.62x39, since ammo is plentiful and cheap. Ive been reading all the 7.62 threads i can find an it seems they finally have quality asc 30 rounder for this build. But I don't particularly care for the length of the magazine. I currently use pmag 20's on my 5.56 build and love the size of the mag. I would prefer a happy medium between the 10&30's. Are those really my only two options? If so I guess I'll be picking up mostly 10's and only a few 30's, if so.

There are some older hybrid USA made twentys. Three just sold on the EE for around 160. They don't come up for sale very often.

I had to make them myself. I butchered some 30 round CProd mags into 20 length.
I have to use 10 rounders on the home ranges due to living in a state run by @#$^&! .
I did the same for 5.45x39 mags, just cut down some 30s.

I just read another thread where the guy cut his own. I may look into that. Thanks
