Anyone know if it's possible to convert Mk4 3.5-10x40 TMR Illum M1 turrets to M3? Also curious if anyone knows when Leupold custom shop will be accepting new requests. I've done a bunch of searching but unable to find anything definitive. Everything I was able to find was regarding conversion of M1 to M5, which I'm hoping to do M3 if all possible.

If it's a Mark 4 and not a Vari-X III the year thing becomes a moot point I believe. Just be careful if you send it in and it has an early illumination housing on it. They like to upgrade it to the current slab side type for free, killing a lot of the clone value. |

If anyone has a lead on a TAS-1 with the buttstock adapter please let me know. Just saw one sell on FB for $163, LOL. My quest for that buttstock adapter is driving me mad but I'm afraid I won't be satisfied until I have one.

I emailed Leupold about a week ago asking about the custom shop and they had no estimated date as to when they'd be taking orders again. I have a Vari-XIII I wanna send in to switch to a more correct reticle and I'm stuck waiting for them to open back up

No 77gr pills to shoot so shot some "cheap" 55gr yesterday. Actually grouped pretty decent at 100yds. However, once I started shooting >400 you could really see the light projectile loose it’s juice and start knuckle balling all over the place.

A quick question regarding the Arms swan engraving. How does one tell the older stuff from the newer stuff? I believe it has something to do with the wing or lack of wing on the engraving?

Wings were phased in at different times. The #22 caps for instance got them well before engravings changed. |

ARMS products have a small engraved outline of a swan on them. The later version of the swan has a pronounced wing where as the earlier ones don't have a wing.

The switch to winged 40s comes with the tethered nut. But yeah, just a logo change for the most part.
