Both carbine and mid length gas government profiles were in stock today. I grabbed one of the mid-length barrels. I know it doesn’t come with the pinned DD gas block but I have an extra DD gas block I pulled off an older MK18 and I pin my own on the drill press any way. |

Isn't that what they are using now versus the old MK12 block that were interfering with the rail? |

What kind of accuracy are you guys getting? With some of the issued URGI uppers I am seeing very poor accuracy. More than 1.5” at 25m with Vortex Razors.

Who does the cleanest pin and weld job? There is someone I remember being mentioned but cannot think of it for the life of me. Also, are you guys using rockset when installing your FH before a P&W?

I’m just gonna have to swap the upper out and see... |

Keeping the hope alive for tano ATACR's. Just got an email from Nightforce's Mil purchase manager that I'll put in quotes below.
Regarding tan scope release, I really wish I knew. I know it is planned for this year and we already have samples, but when the official release is I don’t think anyone knows. View Quote |

I have a razor in a geissele mount and an exps3-0. Also a block 2 non fsp upper. Having a hard time deciding what optic should go where. Do you guys prefer the lpvo on the Urgi upper over the EOTech (or vice versa)?
|
|
|
Where do you live and what’s your intended use?
I’ve switched from LPVOs back to EXPS/G33 because 99% of what I use my rifles for is <100 yards and I spend a lot of time working around vehicles and in buildings. The extra weight and reduced eye box penalty wasn’t worth it to me. Yes you can make it work with training but it was always easier and faster for ME to run with the EOTechs than anything else. If I lived out west with wide open spaces, mountains, or deserts then I would’ve most likely stuck with my Razor G2E. Same if I was shooting matches with small steel far away. |

If you run the Eotech I’d get a G33 atleast to take advantage of the good barrel |

Just scored a DD barrel from Brownells. What gas block is good to go for the URGI?

The factory, pinned, DD gas block is the only clone correct one.
I’m using a Centurion on my 6933 barrel under a MK16 rail with no clearance issues. |

Guess it will be near clone correct. I'll have Retro Arms pin a gas block. Is Proven Arms the only source for a 4 prong that is in stock? Price is extremely high for what it is. |

I did screw the 4 prong, not only is the performance worse then a three prong, but so is the ridiculous price people are asking. I'm going to go the warcomp route.

RKS USA has DD barrels w/ pinned gb up for preorder with delivery by 3/25. No experience or affiliation with them.
I imagine they got word from DD that barrels are inbound (DD cust. service told me expect some in Q1 too), so I imagine other dealers will be getting some stock soon too. Might be worth a shot if you’re not fast at buying after email notifications go out. |
