This is kind of a retro-ish question. Does anyone know of a company that makes new A1 triangle handguards in OD? I see lots of A2 and M4 handguards but no A1. Your help is greatly appreciated. THANKS!

Jim

To my knowledge no one does. Guys wanting green for their 601's are just painting black ones.

I posted when I saw/bought Dean3006's 601 parts/stocks. You snooze you lose. I didn't buy them all, only bought what I use. Wish others would do that.

I'd like a set of those with a matching buttstock, but I'd remove the green paint. Someone here had one with brown furniture, and I thought it looked great.

Can brown pistol grips be had, as well?

That stash is just plain bragging! If you have one set I am still in for one real deal. I have a pretty good clone, but still need real handgaurds. I paid about $200 for a high quality clone but it's still not original!

Hey guys. Sorry, I was outta town for New year. Thanks for all the leads. I was looking more for a new production with moulded green plastic. Something I could TRASH and not feel too bad about, you know?? If I got an original painted set, I wouldnt touch it much less try to bang it around in a field environment...LOL

I guess I will have to go the "paint my own older set" route and see how it comes out.
