I bought a brand new Bushmaster M4 LE Patrolman for my duty rifle.  I had asked about the Olympic Arms I bought and since you all said it is not your life on the line, I got the hint.  It will be in later this week.  I have a very nice Olympic Arms M4 for sale ;-)

So you replaced the Oly with a Shrubmaster? Why not just get an LMT? Eitherway, youre going in the right direction. But first I would replace the Bolt and carrier with a Bravo Company BCG.

Why? I've yet to see a Bushmaster BCG fail

You'll be fine, plenty of people use bushmasters as patrol rifles.  Don't worry, just practice with it and get familiar with your new rifle.

I've seen several "fail" due to the carrier key coming loose because of poor stakeing.

ETA Get is properly staked and it should be good to go.

Count me as one.

Unfortunately, there will be someone along to tell you that your Bushie isn't good enough either.  Relax, shoot a bunch and have a good time.

What kind of mags are you using?

I think the best rifles are the ones you build with uality parts of your own choosing.I have all Bushmasters..just certain parts upgrades.

Like Jacketch stated, I used to work for a company that trained LE and Military.  Every class a Bushy would go down.  The same issue everytime.  Gas key not properly staked and coming loose.  Who knows, maybe they fixed the issue.  Besides that no problems.
