Hello all,

I missed out on the Weaver Classic extreme 1-4x24mm scope that Natchez was selling, and I was looking at another alternative. I saw a similar riflescope made with japanese glass at SWFA.

Does anyone have any reviews or experience with this scope?

http://www.swfa.com/pc-13677-2315-nikko-stirling-1-4x24-diamond-30mm-riflescope.aspx

I tried searching on here and googling, but I did not come up with much.

Thanks for all of your help.

I've been looking at the same optic. However, considering the dearth of information available about them, I doubt they are even available at this time.

Not sure if you have ever seen the show "predator quest" but the main guy on there uses Nikko Sterling optics and swears by them.

Twise,

Thats exactly whats holding back, too. However, I am leaning towards the stereotype that Japanese glass is of good quality.

BTW. I have never seen that sho. Maybe I should look into it.

I looked through some Nikko Sterling glass atop a Howa Model 1500 in Bass Pro. SUPER clear optics, edge-to-edge.

I was impressed.

Stigma?

Twise, excuse me. Two trains of thought-sorry. I meant stereotype. For some reason, alot of guys at the range claim that japanese made lenses were of higher quality than chinese. I need to look into this because my millet dms-1 was made in China and it is perfectly fine. I'm probably just going to have to buy one for myself and see I guess, just dont have the funds yet.
