Rush L just broke in a made the same announcement.
Good job guys !!! They folded under tremendous political pressure. A win for the good guys. Obama is known for the best gun saleman ever. Now he can also be known as the best ammo salesman. Good job Mr President !!! But the left will go after this ammo again. Trust me LOL for all the scalpers that planned on ripping people off. Now maybe the same happens to .22 LR scalpers. "Suspending" is the key word here. Don't get complacent, they will come back when they have more info on their side. The Supreme Court also ruled this week that review periods for this kind of thing are not required. Once the BATF circles their wagons and gets their legal team together they will come back to this and make a blanket rule change without any comment period or recourse.
BTW.. where was everyone when they banned 5.45x39??????????????????????????????????????? |

Just a hiccup for them. I am glad for now that we won, but with the new ruling about not having to announce changes. Its pretty fucked up. They will regroup and come back harder. But for now. Woohoo ftbatf

Not so fast, change the title of this thread. It ain't time to celebrate yet.
Some times it pays to read the whole article. As Fox reports: "The ATF said in a statement on Tuesday it would not seek to issue final guidelines "at this time." The agency said it will instead wait until Americans have finished commenting on the federal regulations and evaluate their comments and suggestions before "proceeding with any framework." No where did ATF say the ban was off! |
