So I had a Bohica .50BMG  AR upper that I  wasnt using simply because I had no where to shoot it. Thing was fun as hell to blow up appliances with when I got the chance to shoot it, but I wanted something else. So i posted on the EE and worked out a deal(I wont go into details)  and now This is what I got.  I Already have a Carbine so i wanted a precision set up

Its a Red X Arms 20" SS 1/8 5.56 bull Barrel with a Chrome BCG. the staking on the gas key is a little weak and it doesn't say if it is MP/HP tested or not but not a big deal as this is  strictly a bench gun. the upper does have M4 cuts.  The lower Is from the .50, Its a doublestar with a mix of PSA and DD parts in it (spare parts I had laying around) and Pmags work just fine in it. As soon as funds allow I want to put a SSA trigger in it. the scope is a Burris FullField II 3-9 need to get a better mount for it right now it is in standard scope rings.

Going to take it out to a 100yard range on the 26th (using my personal day and its an early birthday present to my self hehe)

Looks good Evile,Should make for a good shooter I would think. As far as the gas tube being staked? It looks like to me your gas block is a clamp up type with two bolts and split? if so tighten up those bolts and it won't go any anywhere! I have a similar bock on mine and mine has three set screws, I thought about getting a split one that clamps to the barrel, but instead I drilled dimples in the barrel to match my set screws, worked great.

I have one that looks similar to yours, I can get pictures posted in here but it is a url and you have to copy and paste or highlight it and your browser will take you to it. That brings me to an off subject but will make it short, how do you post a picture like yours? like I said from photo bucket I can put here, but you have to paste and copy to see it? Anyway,  here is my set up still have more to do.

My barrel was 24 inches and over an inch on the O.D now it is .875 and a bit smaller in places. Also I cut it off to 18 inches and re crowned the barrel, it shoots very good, under one inch at 100 yds with my reloads.

from photobucket just copy the img url and past  or use the insert picture tag.

I was referring to the gas key on the BCG not the gas block. the block is clamped on
