i am pretty new to guns in general i fired some handguns a while back and a couple .22 rifles but im no expert. im looking for a place that will tell me specific funtions of different parts of a rifle, preferable i would like to know about the AR but anything that will increase by general knowledge of how guns function and what parts do what would be greatly appreciated. Im sure ill have many more questions for the forums pros once i get into it more but for know i just need something to get myself started.
Thanx for the help

Go to this sites home page before you go to the forums,on the left there are technical as well as hisorical facts concerning the AR,this site is the best for information,so imerse yourself and then there are plenty of friendly members who will help you with anything you need to know..hope this helps.Another good source is small arms of the world its a little out dated whne it comes to the more modern M16 variants but there is a lot of info and thats every country not just US weapons try that also.

Yes you do.....If your schedule permits, we are having our next monthly shoot here in Vegas, August 16.  Just buy some ammo and ask nice and you will get an "education" in just about any type weapon you are interested in.

If you are interested, IM me and I will send you details.
