What kind of Power does your .50 have compared to .223?

Why the hell can't I get an AR for my birthday?...especially a .50. Besides targets, what else do you plan on shooting...trucks? [:D]

Shoots nice. Recoil is like a 20 ga with slugs (I just happened to shoot a 20ga with slugs a couple of weeks ago). Real accurate at 50 yards. Yup I'm a lee loader, well alot of my stuff is Lee I was given a lee press, the Beowulf dies are Lee , figured I'd stick with it :) . Besides its cheap. Beowulf is a 334 gr slug at about 1900 fps so it packs alot of wallop compared to a 55gr .223 . I plan on plinking with the gun mostly, there are some water filled jugs out there that need killing. I hope to also find a good place to do some hog hunting with it. And yeah my wife is great she bought me the upper for my birthday. I built the lower myself (Eagle Arms lower , RRA parts kit , CavArms C1 stock. )
