Hi all,

I am new to the group but not new to the M16/AR-15. I wanted to know if I could get some guidance of who has the best price and service for buying parts for my Stag Arms stripped Lower.

I've gone with complete kits from Del-Ton and J&T Dist. and piece meal from the dealers in the EE. You can't beat the Equipment Exchange, you know exactly what parts you are getting and where they are coming from. CMT lower parts kits, CMT bolt groups, any barrel and free float you want, every BUIS you can imagine. You can't beat the package deals. You can also check out all the industry partners websites under the industry tab, but most have their common parts in the EE.

And welcome

Eagle Firearms has some of the best prices around and excellent service. Many of the other dealers on the industry page and equipment exchange have also impressed me with their responsiveness and willingness to help.

I have dealt with RB Precision personally, by phone and e-mail. Absolutely the best service.

Thank you. Looks like Eagle Firearms are a little cheaper. I don't see paying for shipping either. That's a plus.

I'm new to the dark side of the forum (been on the AK side for a while) and, while I've definatley shot AR's that my friends own I'll be buying my first on Saturday. Planning on buying a Carbon-15 reciver and building it. My brother has a bid on an auction site for a RockRiver national match lower parts kit. He's going to be keeping the trigger for his DPMS AR10 and I'm gonna get the rest of the stuff to build the lower. I'm planning on going with a Bushmaster Carbon-15 reciver. M4 SOCOM stock, and the Geissele trigger from White Oak Armament. Also thinking of using a Foxbat grip since I like the feel.

AK's are way cool, but the .223 is much more accurate than the 7.62x39 round.

I can't wait to build my AR and also can't wait to get the different uppers available.

I think I am going to start with the 24" RRA Varmint and then get a Stag Arms shorty.

Anyone know about ASA uppers or ASA in general? Looking for opinions here.
