Thanks, all, for the warm welcome...quick resume to establish "creds"...4 years USAF Security Police, with SE Asia service  '72-'76..9 years USA Military Police...former instructor, USA MP School, Advanced...SRT instructor...civilian Law Enforcement since then...too many schools/training courses to list...hell, I don't even remember some of them any more..except in occasional flashbacks...extreme student in KISS principle....had the BRD for a long time..but now down to one ..Colt MT6601, manufactured during Klinton's assault gun ban( LEO with bayonet lug and removeable flash suppressor on 20" barrel)...tried  red-dots..ACOGS, don't like 'em...CQB and battle rifle, I like the irons..A2...that's my idea of high-speed, low drag...probably a bad case of Old School rut.  My back-up gun is a SIG 226 in .357SIG, and the Oh Shit Gun is a P239, also in .357SIG....own and operate all three on-duty...and I work 1st watch (mids, deep nights) and will until I die or retire...have really enjoyed the information/advice available here and hope to continue to do so.  In the mean time, hoist a couple cold ones for me...I will reciprocate..."The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants":Thomas Jefferson
