I recently built a VERY cheap AR15 with all kinds of random parts.  Works great.  Spent way under $450.  ;)  Cybermonday/Black friday sales everywhere.

Was at range and a guy with a pricy AR, probably >$1500 offered to let me shoot his.  It didn't impress me any with the EXCEPTION of the Geissele SSA-E trigger he had.  DAMN!

Now I'm in a perplexing situation. I built a cheap range rifle and it's fine.  But that trigger.  OMG  Someone tell me why I shouldn't put a $240 trigger in a rifle that I have less than $450 in.

I need some voice of reason here to save my wallet.    ;)

Because I don't think you have to. I don't own one so I'm just passing this info on- many Arfcommers have expressed their love for this trigger and some even prefer it over the Big G triggers.

LINKY to LaRue MBT-2S

If you want to go even cheaper, the Rock River National Match two Stage (4.5 lb.) is a good one. (I do own one of these)

Pete at Legal Transfers is where I got mine (Arfcom Partner) LINK

Well, after military time, I've put over 10k rounds downrange, just not thru this rifle.  Thank god the gov't was paying for it.   I just can't get over how nice that trigger was.

I haven't managed to put any rounds through a geissele equipped rifle, but after dry firing a friends, they are damn nice. I'll throw my 2 cents in for MBT though. At $125/200 options, it's a no brainer. If you pay attention and catch a sale, at $100, it's a steal. Better than the $200+ geissele? I wouldn't know, but I'd like to find out...

LaRue's MBT all the way.

Traded out my Geissele's for a MBT. Now every AR I own has a MBT.
But then I'm considered a Larueminati

BTW, LaRue had the MBT's for $99.00 on a black friday sale.

I just put a Geissele two-stage trigger in my most recent build. I needed a better trigger for precision, but didn't want to spend the coin for an SSA. The two-stage trigger cost me $130.00. I've only dry fired it so far, but it feels head and shoulders above a standard AR trigger.

I like all 5 of my Geissele SSA-Es. Once you get a good trigger in one rifle, you want one in everything.

I have Geiselle in 7 of my builds, SSAE, SD3Guns, Lov 'em  all. SSAE's are in my rifles for precision shooting, 20", 18" and one in a Noveski infidel. The 3 Gun triggers are awesome too

This one has a 3 Gun
