I just  installed some new gas rings on my bolt and after I put them on my bolt will go into the the carrier but it seems tougher to put in. Is this normal and the gas rings will slowly compress or did I stretch the rings too far when putting them on? When I gave the carrier / bolt wrist flick test it went ok. Just want to make sure I am safe before I fire it.

Thanks all,
Nick

You're fine.  The new gas ring will break-in quickly.  C_M
