very very nice.

i have a question.

how quiet is that SD?

i have read varying reports from "the loudest sound is the bolt cycling" to "you still need hearing protection".

you have the real deal so you seem to be the best person to ask.

im sure it varys depending on ammo selection, so just give me a good idea.

thanks

ooh ooh i have one more question.

i see a vast array of eotechs and no aimpoints.

i am still debating on which of these two to get.

enlighten me on why you went with the eotech if you could.

thanks man

It is very quiet, but seems the KAC equipped can is a bit quieter.  you do not need hearing protection at all, all you really hear is a hiss and the bolt.  if someone tells you the SD needs hearing protection, then they are lying or the can on the gun they shot are wore out.

I love my EOTechs, it is by far the fastest CQB red dot sight on the market, I also have three other guns equipped with Aimpoints, Aimpoints will have an edge as the general purpose sight and battery life. I love them all. so you see, it is just up to you on which sight you like better on your gun.

Left it at home. I did not drive, so I can only bring limited arsenal. [:)]

Where did you get your hands on a HK41? I would get rid of all my AR rifles if I could get one of those.

Gill, The G41 was part of a PD trade in.  I still think the M4 is a better gun(guys at HKPro is going to hang me for this), the G41 is just rare.

You live in CA and you own MP5?
How did you manage that?
Are you a cop or Class III FFL?
