is it my imagination or is the new wolf ammo a little hotter than the old stuff? just went out back and fired 20 rounds to make sure that it fed and it seems hotter?

:sigh: I USED to be able to do that, before all of the whiny city-ish people started moving in all around me...

But back on topic, I thought I noticed that too. Their 55gr HP stuff seems to be a little hotter than the 55gr FMJ...

What kind are you shooting?

It never seemed underpowered to me ever, so I wouldn't know. I burn 3-4 k(in .223 that is) of it a year so that might not be enough to tell any difference. The 9mm, .45 and 7.62x39 have never seemed underpowered and I shoot equal amounts or more of each of them.

yeah out back here in the desert has it's advantages in the WINTER, not the summer, 120 in the shade in YUMA AZ, i had a bunch of bad luck with the old wolf, olympia, remington, and a couple of others. i just wanted something that would feed reliably if the SHTF or there was an intruder. my Springfieild XD 40 with a streamlight is on the bedstand, but i want to keep the AR there for some unknown reason. thank you all for the help and comments over the years, i don't post much, but i read ALOT! thanx again!
