I just got a tactical pistol grip for my AR-15. it's really nice, anyway. I can't figure out how to take the screw out from the inside of the original pistol grip. There isn't a Alen wrench long enough that will reach all the way down inside and be able to unscrew it. Is there a wrench I will have to buy or are there some tricks of the trade on how to take the thing off without a really long alen wrench?

you can use an allen wrench attachment for a screw driver, the ones with the changeable bits

if it's an allen head screw, then go buy a longer wrench.  they're cheap.  i had to do the same thing a few months ago.

You just need to buy a "real man's" wrench set, one with long shafts.

Take your regular allen wrench insert the long end down the pistol grip and use a pair of plyers to turn the short end of the allen wrench.  That is if the handle end of the allen wrench is long enough to get into the allen head bolt in the pistol grip.  If not then follow the advice of everyone else here and get a real set of allen wrenches!!!!!
