I occasionally hear talk that there are some new Eotech models coming out soon.  Is this true?  If so will they be replacements for the current models or new additions to the product line?

Thinking of buying one in the next few months......

They new 553 model will be an addition to the line up.
It is scheduled to start shipping in April/May
