I keep checking but nothing crops up. Maybe their just not as prolific as other Co. systems..

Stag makes a great product.  They just aren't on the "I am so cool, buy now" list anymore.  Their fit and finish, and quality is definitely top notch.  I have owned a few of their weapons and have never been disappointed.  The M8 is a great rifle for the money.  I wouldn't hesitate to own one.

Yah I seem to notice that trend.

i love stag stuff. always high quality and their CS is pretty top notch.

wouldn't hesitate to buy anything stag. the fact they're lower priced than most of the flavor of the month stuff just makes it that more appealing to me.

Bought one a few months ago and love it. Well worth the $1050 I paid for it.
Had one minor issue with the trigger and the dealer I bought it from fixed it with no questions asked for free. He said mine was the first one he has ever seen have a problem (and it was a very minor one at that).

Love my Stag M8! Sometimes I wonder why I even bought an LWRC....

Mine is way overgassed. Stag had said the rifle will still cycle with the gas off, and suppressor on. Mine won't. If I try to shoot with gas on, the piston shoves the bolt group back so hard that the hammer gets jammed most of the time. I had my gunsmith modify it by adding extra smaller holes, giving me more settings. It works great now.

I haven't posted here much (at all?) but I read other forums..  You're right, I read all sorts of issues with other ARs but not Stag.   I have a Stag 8 and it just runs and works fine.  I also have a SR556 (6.8) and time will tell but right now I prefer the Stag.

Cheers!

Tanks for the feed back. The one I built is seriously a tier one performer. Was not expecting such an excellent performing rifle. I own some others. I really am impressed with the CMMG/STAG M8 Plus Package. Sewing machine.

I have a stag m8 that i got awhile back. I havent put that many rds though it yet maybe 300-400, tho in that time not one problem. Tho now I'm just saving up for the optics for mine haven't decided on eotech or aimpoint. I would highly recommend stag, its a solid performer. At least IMHO.

I own 2 ARs, both of which I've built completely from scratch.

The one has a Stag upper receiver and it has been very good.  Ramps lined up perfectly with my barrel, fitment and action has been very smooth.
