A friend of mine has a Baushmaster that he bought about 2 months ago and now doesnt want it..
It is the M4 style with an Izzy Brake and pinned M4 style stock. The gun has about 200 rounds through it and is in perfect condition..
What should he sell it for?
Thanks

$100. PM me for my address.

He should be able to get around $7-800 pretty easy. I would look at it for that price anyway.

agree w/viking

They sell brand new for $900 to $1,000 (MSRP is $1,265 from Bushmaster)

Being slightly used will knock about $100-$200 off of it.

It isn't a ban model.  It has a 14.5" barrel.  The Izzy has to be permanantly attached to make the minimum 16".
That rifle is ~$865 new at Sportsman's Warehouse.    He should be able to easily sell it for $750 and maybe more.

A2 or A3?

With the pinned stock I would say the A2 would be $650ish.

With the A3, $700 would be a very fair price.

Assuming everything is in excellent condition.

I bought used BM M4 A3 from a private party locally for $730- had tele-stock, A2 suppressor, box, manual, etc.

Those figured might flex $25-$50 either way depending on how bad he wants to unload it.

all that with the fact that the guy is posting from a banned state i would say it is a ban model rifle. the ban doesnt care what length bbl. it is as long as the muzzle device used to bring it to legal length is appropriate.

Definately a ban model.  Notice it has the Izzy brake instead of the Izzy FH and of course the pinned stock.  He should try to sell it in CT to get the most out of it.

I would give $500 tops.  Then have to replace the stock and brake.  Brings you back up to around $650 if you can do the brake work yourself.

Sounds like you need to sell it to someone who NEEDS the Ban config.

You guys are too funny...  not everyone out there is going to need or care if it is the Izzy brake or comp.  Same with the stock.  Someone would buy the current stock the way it is just for the looks if you just HAD to have a functioning collapsing stock.
It is still worth an easy $750.  Maybe not to you, but it will sell.

Sorry, it is an A3 flattop with carry handle. And it is a post-ban gun as my state is still a post ban state and it will be sold in CT so the fact that it is a post-ban gun shouldnt effect the value.

Thanks for the info
