Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need some advice on night vision

I am looking at getting a NV scope or monocular for use in
a head mount and on my M4 rifle.

I have an ACOG on it now, and would like something that I can possibly
use in tandem with that, if possible, or in the place of it.

What do you guys recommend ?
I am looking at Gen 2+ or gen 3.
