Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need info for installing EO Tech or OKO sight on M4

I am going to have a Fulton Armory Guardian II M4 upper shortly and am down to buying either an EO Tech 511 or OKO with 4 moa dot.  Can I attach them directly to the A3 upper rail or do I need to put a riser of some sort to get a good sight picture with a standard A2 buttstock.

EO Tech will attach right on your upper...nothing could be easier [:D]

Your sight picture will be fine and you'll have her sighted in within a few rounds!

Ditto for the OKO- sits right on the flattop and co-witnesses with your irons.
