Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need help with choosing mags for Armalite rifles

I just recentley bought a new Armalite A2(.223). I wanted a few 30 rd mags and decided to buy some at a local gun show. Whatever brand they are must be crappy. I was told that they were new GI issue with the green followers. The fit and feed of these mags suck.

I would like to know what brand of 30rd mags feed and fit well with Armalite rifles. I like the Thermolds and Orlites.....

I have a M15A2 20" and FN,Okay,Center ind, Parsons,Adventureline,Sanchez,Colt, even PMI's work great in it, most of mine have black followers in them  but I do have a few with the green followers, but I have never had a problem. I like the FN's and Okays  the best dont ask me why but its like Chevy and Ford I guess
