I have a complete LMT lower that has been sitting around and needs a LMT upper. I am having a hell of a time locating one.

Anyone know of any vendors that  carry the LMT line specifically the STE14s- complete basic standard flat top 14.5" carbine 5.56?

Is it possible to order the upper directly from LMT?

I know they've expanded their purchasing options on their website is previous months.

The only vendor that comes to mind that carries LMT uppers would be Rainier.

I got mine from LGS that ordered it from LMT.   Took about a week to 10 days.    He was a little bit cheaper than price posted on LMT because he really didn't have to tie up his money.   It will also depend on if it's something they have made up or in stock.    He ordered my 12" piston upper while I was standing there and confirmed it was in stock.    If you have a good relationship with your LGS and he has an account with them try him after you get a quote and see if in stock from LMT.   Have seen them in different variations on Gun Broker but don't go there unless i am in need of something.    Good luck on your hunt.

They show in stock at LMT. Not sure how good the price is versus shopping around. But they say they have it. LMT's aren't the cheapest out there, but they're solid rifles. And I'm not a panic monger, but yesterday was the time to buy. Tomorrow might not be better than today.

ETA: I am a an admitted LMT fan. Have an MRP complete rifle and 2 other LMT lowers. Not my thread, but in case you had any doubts on the LMT's worth Why I like my LMT.

I saw LMT did have the upper I want in stock but wanted to shop around a bit before committing.

Love LMT's and used to own 3 others in the past. I have the extra lower sitting around so before the insanity starts with this election I figured I may as well have a complete LMT to go along with my BCM 20" A4, BCM 16" mid length and my Spikes 14.5" LW mid length.

Definitely look for a local Lmt dealer. You can get a list from LMT's site.

My LGS had prices that where quite a bit cheaper than msrp on the 14.5 basic I had them quote.

If you're thinking about the CQB MRP I can recommend it as mine has been flawless.

I am leaning towards the CQB MRP at this point. Hoping to find a slightly used one on the EE but finding anything from LMT is almost impossible the last 6 month. If not I will have to find a dealer.
