I've got a bravo co. SAM-R(ish) upper on an Oly lower. Its got an A2 stock on it now and I want to put a different one on it. I'm thinking either a clubfoot vltor or a magpul m93. Can anyone thats had them both possibly tell me what the plusses and minuses are to them both, and what might make one better than the other? The cost of the two is pretty similar so I'm not to concerned about one being cheaper than the other.

I do plan on using optics of some kind with this rifle but right now all I have are back up irons. I'm thinking about putting one of the IOR 4x24's on it sometime in the future.

Thanks!

You mean a fixed club foot vs M93? The clubfoot collapsable VLTOR is not as solid nor does it have as good of a cheek weld as the M93. M93 is considerably more money. I would certainly choose an M93 over the VLTOR stocks but my opinion is not what matters. I would look at the new Magpul precision rifle stock for a SAM-R type upper.

I would consider 3 stocks for use on an AR. M93, M95 and the LMT SOPMOD.
