I am looking for a barrel.

Criteria:

Length:  16"
Material:  Stainless
Contour:  Fluted, fore and aft of the gas port
Gas system:  Carbine
Twist:  Any of 1:7, 1:8, or 1:9
Threaded:  YES

Who makes something like this?

I have a feeling that you'll need to have one custom made...

ETA, crap missed your carbine gas requirement. Consider the mid length, I have both and I am much quicker with follow up shots with the middie.

RRA makes a barrel like you describe,except it's not fluted, but you could buy that, and send it to a company like ADCO which will do barrel modifications such as fluting. I think they sell this particular barrel at their site, too, so you could buy both the barrel, and the services from the same vendor.

Also, Model 1 makes a barrel like this that you can get already fluted, but from what I've heard, their site gets hacked a lot and people end up getting their credit card info stolen, so be warned about that.
