Praise goes to Talon Arms for putting up with me and my anal retentiveness

They discovered a problem with mounting my ABS Barrel to my bushmaster upper with a DD Rail. I contacted Tom at ABS for his advice also, wanted to know if anyone else has run into this situation before?

The chamber in front of your barrel flange messures 1.05", the
barrel nut on the DD rail measures 1.015" on the inside diameter.
Long story short, it won't fit. (A standard barrel measures .98")
You will need to get a barrel nut from the company that built that barrel
and we will have to mount a Samson MRFS two piece rail.

Are bigger barrel nuts a common piece out there? Or are they a custom job?
I dont care about not having the DD rail, I have a samson on my carbine and love it. was just trying to save a "couple of ounces".

thanks in advance..
