Heres a picture of my front sight. Im wondering if the elevation will work out for me if Im trying to put a folding steel sight and aimpoint pro on. Will I need any spacers or anything like that?

I guess the main reason im asking is due to the fact my front sight is stationary and does not flip down...so will my front sight be in the way if I want to mount a red dot or a swfa 1-4 type scope?

You can have the red dot fully cowitnessed or 1/3. That is up to you. I recommend 1/3 with fixed sights.

The 1-4 scope may have a problem. When I used to have a fixed front sight and 3-9 scope, the sight wouldn't get in the way even at the lowest magnification. So not sure with the 1-4.

Do you think I will need risers for something like an aimpoint pro to not have that front sight in my line of sight? Just wondering so I know what to buy. Thanks!
