Hey everyone..I will be buying a soft case for my AR after the 13th when I change my A2 stock for a telestock....

I am thinking about the blackhawk 29 inch weapons case...but I dont know if my rifle will be too long

I have a 16" Bushy A3 with no muzzle brake and will be adding an "old style" fiberlite stock to it...

does anyone have the measurements of a similiar rifle with a 16" barrel and its stock collapsed? This will be alot of help

Thanks in advance.

My bushy Shorty AK with Stubby stock fits nicely in a 32" case. I think the bbl is 17" and the stubby stock is the same length as a collapsed tele-stock.
As a frame of reference, My CAV15mkII with 16" bbl and CAVcomp won't fit the 32" case. I needed to pick up a 35" case for it.

Swing by your local music store. Cheaper, well built, built in camoflague.....

Also if the stock is the Crane or newer telestock, it may be really fing tight :(

I bought a Tac-Force case for my postban naked muzzled rifle with fake CAR stock. I found 36" was about ideal, in my shortsightedness. However, after additional consideration, it would be about ideal for fitting two rifles in there.

I'm a big fan of Eagles Carbine length AR case. Retails for about $74.00-$85 depending on who you get it from.

I'm more of a fan of my new "discreet case." It's not a soft side, but give you an idea of how much you could fit in a case similar to CavVets idea. I don't like to advertise my rifes if I can help it.

Mine was $29.00, holds rifle, with reflex mounted, 30 rounder in mag well with first samco ouble mag attached. Bottom compartment I only have 12 mags in it, but would hold 20 if I wanted it to. Have another section for small parts and tools, etc.

Best-est under 30 bucks I ever spent. And I can have it on my back in the middle of a Grateful Dead show, and nobody has a clue its an Ar-15.

Discrete carry to the range is no problem.

My soft case is a 32" Tactical Tailor one.
