I need a new grip that brings the backstrap of the grip further away from the trigger but I have heard reports of some grips not fitting the lower reciever properly..

I've tried to search but haven't found much that really helps.

So who's had good luck with what grips for the DPMS .308?

I'm lovin' the rifle so far, it's sweet. Especially after dropping in the RRA 2-stage trigger.

I recommend buying the Ergo grip for an AR15 buy this piece to fit:

Otherwise the SPR grip is pretty good.

+1 SPR --- Sierra Precision

No gaps to worry about.

Any recommendation for Sierra Grips? I've seen them before, like them but haven't found many places selling them.

I had to mod it, but the MIAD grip from MAGPUL is nice. Due to the 2nd spring for the take down pin coming from the handle instead of the stock you need to mock up a area for it. I used epoxy, but after you do this it will be near impossible to swap backstraps so decide now, I say near impossible because I did have to grind it down and swap but its just a pain in the rear. But assemble the grip and place a dab of epoxy where the spring will rest on the grip. Wait for it to cure then sabnd it flush and if needed clear enough out of the inside for the grip support on the lower receiver. MINE
