Say if a feller was to have around 900 ish bucks how would you spend it?

I know very little about ARs. I know what all the little buttons do and understand the concept of how it works (without being able to name all the littler parts inside). Thats about it.

I like the Robinson XCR but I think I would rather stick to a traditional AR for part interchangability.

So would you go ahead and buy something like a S&W M&P, Bushy, Armalite?

-or-

save for a little while longer and splurge on something like a LWRC.

(Take into account the current political situation, and whether that will have an effect on price/ availability.)
