Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need Info on how to get info on Older Colts.

I was looking for info on how to get the set up info from Colt as to what set up came on my lower. Right now it's a 24" ss and the uper is darker than the lower. Lower is a colt Sporter Target model with a 4 didget ser # and it's gray. Thanks ahead of time for the help!

You can try www.biggerhammer.net, the Colt forum in the industry section, or try calling or writing Colt (they charge a fee to do the research).

Thanks for the info! Is Colt outa there heads? Im not paying $100 bucks for that info they probly have it on disc and would take about 2 minits! What a RIPPOFF !!

That is the very reason Companies charge fees is to keep people from pestering them.

Yeah, I was pretty shocked when I found out what Colt was charging for documentation of their fine products.  No wonder everyone is buying Bushmasters.
